First Itri Blog Post!

Wine is all about friends.

Sharing good times, reveling, dancing, celebrating. This letter is about celebration! Itri has turned the page onto its next chapter, as we get ready to introduce two new wines to our selection - a delicious Rosé and a hearty Red Blend. But, we couldn’t have made it here without our friends and family.

Last year we took a trip to Spain to taste some wines, visit old friends and make new ones. We visited incredible wineries and vineyards. We tasted mouth-watering bevvies and frolicked in the fields. Yes, frolicked, lol. We fell in love with the Spanish countryside, exploring from the dazzling southern shores of Catalonia, to the glistening bay of San Sebastian. We feasted at ONION parties, drank natural wines fermented in giant clay vessels called AMPHORA, buried underground like they did in ancient times. It was incredible.

This year we are bringing new life and excitement into our new arrivals, as well as our current staples, the Orange Skin Contact Chapter Two and the Chilled Red Chapter One. What a delicious time!

Spring in California has brought quenching rains, dousing the dry land with much needed nourishment. The sun has also pushed through the clouds, smiling upon the new sprouts jutting from hill and valley. The bounty of the earth continues to deliver and we continue to revel in its beauty.

Thanks for coming on this journey with us. We couldn’t do it without you - our dear friends and lovers, our chosen family and relatives, our neighbors and guests and soon-to-be friends as well. Thank you!
